Are you a detail-driven Contract Administrator who thrives in a fast-paced construction environment? I’m partnering with a reputable and growing Class 2 builder, and we’re looking for a proactive and hands-on professional to support the successful delivery of key residential projects.

About the Client
Our client is a well-established builder specialising in Class 2 residential developments, with a strong pipeline of projects and a reputation for quality delivery. With continued growth and multiple projects underway, they are seeking a Contract Administrator to play a pivotal role in ensuring projects are delivered on time and within budget.

The Opportunity

This is an excellent opportunity to join a high-performing project team where you’ll take ownership of contract administration processes across the project lifecycle. You’ll work closely with Project Managers, site teams, and subcontractors, ensuring smooth coordination and commercial control from procurement through to final accounts.

We’re looking for someone who likes to get their hands dirty with a realistic, positive  mindset, someone who is equally comfortable managing subcontractor agreements as they are supporting day-to-day project operations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage subcontractor procurement, scope preparation, and contract letting

  • Administer contracts, including variations, progress claims, and payments

  • Track project costs and assist with budget management and forecasting

  • Prepare and assess subcontractor claims and variations

  • Maintain accurate project documentation and reporting

  • Liaise with site teams, consultants, and subcontractors to ensure project alignment

  • Support the Project Manager in delivering projects on time and within budget

  • Identify and mitigate commercial risks across the project lifecycle

About You

  • Proven experience as a Contract Administrator within residential construction, ideally Class 2 projects

  • Strong understanding of construction contracts and commercial processes

  • Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills

  • Confident communicator with the ability to build relationships with stakeholders

  • Proactive, solutions-focused, and able to work in a fast-paced environment

  • A hands-on approach with a strong work ethic and team-first attitude

Why Apply?

  • Join a respected builder with a strong project pipeline

  • Work on high-quality Class 2 residential developments

  • Be part of a collaborative and supportive team environment

  • Opportunity for career growth within a growing business

If you’re looking to take the next step in your construction career and contribute to the successful delivery of residential projects, I’d love to hear from you.
